1. Data Collection & Usage

The core expense tracking and budget management features of "Bazar Hisab" operate offline on your device using a local database. Your financial records and receipt images stay securely on your device. However, to support the ongoing development of the app, we utilize third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

2. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

This application is supported by advertisements. We use Google AdMob as our advertising provider.

Google AdMob may collect and process certain data to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements. This data may include device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP addresses, usage data, and location data (if permitted by your device settings).

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting the Ads settings within your Android device settings.

3. Camera & Photos (Receipt Scan)

The android.permission.CAMERA permission is optional (the app declares this as a non-required hardware feature) and is requested strictly to let you photograph paper shopping receipts, grocery memos, and bills for the "Receipt Scan" feature.

Receipt photos are processed ephemerally and on-device using on-device text recognition (ML Kit) and, where available, Google Lens integration, solely to extract expense items and amounts. Images are not uploaded to our servers, retained after processing, or sold or shared with third parties.

4. Microphone & Voice (Voice Entry)

The android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO permission is optional (the app declares this as a non-required hardware feature) and is requested strictly so you can dictate expenses by speech in Bengali or English for the "Voice Entry" feature.

Voice audio is processed ephemerally — transcribed to text to create an expense entry — and is not permanently stored, uploaded, or shared with third parties.

5. Financial Information (Expense History)

Your expense and purchase history (items, amounts, categories, and dates you enter or import via Receipt Scan or Voice Entry) is collected and stored locally on your device only, for the purpose of personal finance tracking and household budgeting. This data is never uploaded to our servers, sold, or shared with third parties.

6. Network Connectivity

The app requires network connectivity (android.permission.INTERNET) specifically to fetch and display advertisements and to sync online reference data (such as currency or rate information). Core expense tracking, Receipt Scan, and Voice Entry do not require an active connection to function.

7. Not a Financial or Banking App

Bazar Hisab is categorized under personal finance management / expense tracking. It does not provide banking, loans, credit, cryptocurrency, or financial transaction services. It is strictly a household ledger and expense manager, and your data is never used for lending, credit scoring, or any financial decision-making.

8. Children's Privacy

This application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. We adhere to the policies established by Google AdMob regarding family and children's privacy.
