The Challenge

In a small team, time off and hours are usually managed in chat threads and spreadsheets. Leave gets agreed in a message and forgotten; nobody has one view of who is away; and timesheets are reconstructed from memory before payroll, so hours land late and argued-over instead of recorded as the work happens. The manager becomes the middleman for every request and every correction.

Our Solution

WorkRoster makes the system the one route for both. Leave management runs as request-and-approval: staff submit requests in WorkRoster, a manager approves or declines them there, and the whole team can see who is away and when. Timesheets are tracked as the work happens, organised by project, location, and team, so a business with more than one site keeps each location's records separate while owners see the whole picture — and hours arrive payroll-ready instead of being rebuilt at week end. Reminders and updates reach staff on WhatsApp and email, the channels they actually read.
