1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using "BD Tools & Calculator" (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. Description of Service

BD Tools & Calculator is an Android application providing everyday utility tools, including age calculation, BMI assessment, loan EMI calculations, Bangladesh land unit conversions, general unit conversions, currency estimations, percentage and discount calculators, date and working-day calculations, QR code scanning and generation, flashlight and distress signaling, image compression and resizing presets, and optional qualitative AI explanations via a user-supplied Google Gemini API key.

The core features of the Application operate entirely offline and require no registration or subscription.

3. License and Permitted Use

The underlying source code is licensed under the MIT License. The app title "BD Tools & Calculator", logos, custom icons, splash artwork, screenshots, marketing graphics, and trademarks are proprietary assets of ViveScript Solutions LLC and are not covered by the MIT License.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the compiled Application on compatible Android devices for personal, educational, and business purposes in compliance with these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; exploit it in a manner that disrupts network services or violates third-party terms (such as Google APIs); provide counterfeit or unauthorized API keys; or attempt to bypass security controls or tamper with application integrity.

5. Third-Party Services and APIs

If you configure a personal Google Gemini API key, your interactions with Google's API are governed by Google's applicable terms. ViveScript Solutions LLC is not responsible for Google's availability, pricing, or service modifications. The Application also displays advertisements served by Google Mobile Ads, subject to Google's terms and policies.

6. Disclaimers of Warranties

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. All calculation results — including loan installments, land measurements, BMI categories, and currency rates — are provided for general informational and estimation purposes only.

Loan EMI calculations and currency conversions do not constitute professional financial, lending, banking, or tax advice. BMI calculations do not constitute medical diagnosis or health advice. Land unit conversions do not replace certified physical land measurements conducted by licensed surveyors or official government land offices. Consult the appropriate certified professional before acting on any result.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, ViveScript Solutions LLC, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from inaccuracies in calculations or AI explanations, loss of data or profits, or hardware issues resulting from flashlight or camera usage.

8. Modifications & Governing Law

ViveScript Solutions LLC reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Application at any time without prior notice. We may update these Terms periodically; continued use following any updates signifies acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
