1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using "Electricity Bill Calculator BD" (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. Independent Utility & Disclaimer of Affiliation

The Application is an independent mathematical estimation utility developed and published by ViveScript Solutions LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC), BPDB, DESCO, DPDC, BREB (Palli Bidyut), NESCO, WZPDCL, or any municipal electricity distributor.

Calculations are derived from publicly available BERC retail electricity tariff schedules (effective March 2024).

3. Estimation Nature & Accuracy Disclaimer

The Application provides estimates only. Actual electricity bills generated by your electricity provider may differ due to variations in sanctioned load, power factor, or transformer loss adjustments; minimum charges, meter rent, or delayed payment surcharges; arrears, rebate schemes, or unannounced government tariff changes; and differences between prepaid and postpaid meter tariff mechanics.

You acknowledge and agree that ViveScript Solutions LLC does not guarantee the mathematical accuracy of utility billing and shall not be held liable for billing discrepancies with your utility provider.

4. Permitted Use & Restrictions

You may use the Application for personal, educational, household, and lawful business calculation purposes. You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Application except as permitted by applicable law; interfere with advertisements or services connected to the Application; or claim false affiliation with or endorsement by ViveScript Solutions LLC or any utility provider.

5. Intellectual Property

The source code of the Application is licensed under the MIT License. The Application name ("Electricity Bill Calculator BD", "বিদ্যুৎ বিল ক্যালকুলেটর BD"), logos, icons, screenshots, and brand designs are the exclusive proprietary property of ViveScript Solutions LLC and are not covered by the MIT License.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ViveScript Solutions LLC, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Application. The Application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

7. Updates and Changes

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
